Creating a logo, or anything for that matter, starts with research. Design is something that can always be built off of. Before I even begin sketching, I start by going to Google or Pinterest to gather images and start to build an idea. Pinterest is one of my favorite tools as a design student, not only because I have access to multitudes of pictures on thousands of topics, but because I am able to save pictures that relate to the mood and aesthetic of my idea and categorize them into different boards.
For a past project I had for my Design Process class, I was tasked with creating a logo for a sustainable crank design game. the game was named "Human V. Machine," so I took to the internet and researched key words like "human," "machine," "technology," and other similar terms that could help me. I also began searching for things like "logos," "vector art," and "silhouette" on top of these key words.
